GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Tendergreen Bean seeds directly outdoors after the last frost date, when soil has warmed. Choose a sunny location with well-draining soil. Space seeds about 2 inches apart in rows that are 20-24 inches apart. Plant seeds 1 inch deep and cover with soil.

Water the seeds moderately to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Germination usually occurs within 7-10 days. Once seedlings emerge, thin them to about 4 inches apart to ensure proper growth. No need to transplant as beans prefer direct sowing.

Provide regular watering, especially during dry spells, to maintain soil moisture. Harvest beans when they are about 6 inches long and before seeds begin to bulge. Enjoy fresh, or blanch and freeze for later use. Regular harvesting encourages more production.
