GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Swiss Chard Silverado seeds outdoors as soon as the soil can be worked in spring. Plant seeds 1 inch deep and space rows 15 to 18 inches apart. Thin seedlings to 6 inches apart for optimal growth.

Germination occurs in 7-14 days. Ensure consistent moisture during germination. Once seedlings are established, gradually acclimate them to outdoor conditions if started indoors before transplanting.

Water regularly to maintain soil moisture and mulch to conserve water and suppress weeds. Harvest leaves as needed, cutting them from the outside of the plant to encourage new growth. Enjoy fresh in salads or cooked.
