GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Summer Savory seeds directly in the garden or start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Choose a sunny location with well-drained, sandy soil. Sow seeds 1/8 inch deep and keep the soil consistently moist until germination, which takes 7-14 days.

Once seedlings have developed a few leaves, thin them to about 6-12 inches apart. If starting indoors, transplant seedlings after the last frost, hardening them off by gradually exposing them to outdoor conditions over a week.

Water regularly but avoid over-watering. Harvest leaves before the plant flowers for the best flavor. Use fresh or dried in culinary dishes. Regular trimming encourages bushy growth and prolongs the harvest season.
