GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Spinach Avon seeds outdoors as soon as the danger of frost has passed. Plant in rows 24 inches apart, with seeds spaced 2 inches apart, and cover with 1/2 inch of fine soil. Ensure the soil is well-drained and fertile.

Germination typically takes 7 to 14 days. Once seedlings are about 2 inches tall, thin them to 10 inches apart to allow for proper growth. Harden off seedlings by gradually exposing them to outdoor conditions if starting indoors.

Water regularly to maintain consistent moisture, but avoid waterlogging. Harvest leaves as needed, which encourages continued growth. Fertilize every two weeks to promote healthy, vigorous plants. Enjoy fresh leaves in salads or cooked dishes.
