GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Start your Genesis Hybrid Onion seeds indoors in mid to late March. Use soil packs or a seed flat, ensuring the soil is well-draining and rich in nutrients. Maintain a temperature of around 60-70°F for optimal germination.

Once seedlings reach about 4 inches, trim them to encourage strong growth. Transplant them outdoors when the soil warms in spring, spacing rows 18 inches apart and plants 6 inches apart. Harden off seedlings by gradually exposing them to outdoor conditions over a week.

Ensure your onions receive full sunlight and water regularly, but avoid waterlogging. Feed bi-weekly with 10-52-17 fertilizer and liquid seaweed to promote healthy bulb development. Harvest when the tops fall over and store in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months.
