GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Start pepper seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Sow seeds 1/4 inch deep in a seed-starting mix. Keep the soil moist and warm at around 72°F for optimal germination, which takes 10-14 days.

Once seedlings have two sets of true leaves, transplant them into 3-inch peat pots. Harden off by gradually exposing them to outdoor conditions over a week. Transplant outdoors when night temperatures are consistently warm.

Plant peppers in full sun with well-drained soil. Water regularly, ensuring soil remains moist but not soggy. Fertilize with a balanced fertilizer. Harvest when peppers reach their vibrant orange color and enjoy fresh or cooked.
