GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Nasturtium 'Out of Africa' seeds directly into the garden or containers after the last frost. Choose a sunny to partially shaded location with well-drained soil. Space seeds about 10 inches apart to accommodate trailing growth.

To germinate, keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Seeds typically germinate within 7-12 days. Once seedlings are established, thin them to maintain proper spacing. If transplanting, harden off seedlings by gradually exposing them to outdoor conditions over a week.

Water regularly, especially during dry spells, but allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Enjoy the blooms from mid-spring to late summer. Harvest edible flowers for culinary use and trim back as needed to encourage more blooms.
