GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Muir Summer Crisp Lettuce seeds directly outdoors as soon as the soil can be worked in spring. Choose a sunny location with well-drained soil. Plant seeds 1/4 inch deep, spacing them 6 to 7 inches apart in rows 12 to 18 inches apart.

Germination occurs in 7-14 days. Thin seedlings to 20 cm apart once they reach 5 cm in height. For a continuous harvest, plant successive crops every 10 to 14 days. Harden off seedlings before transplanting if starting indoors.
