GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Muir Lettuce seeds directly into the garden as soon as the soil can be worked in early spring. Choose a sunny location and scatter seeds lightly, aiming for 6-7 seeds per foot of row. Cover with a thin layer of soil and water gently to ensure good contact.

Germination occurs within 7-10 days. As seedlings reach about 2 inches in height, thin them to 8 inches apart to allow room for growth. If starting indoors, transplant carefully after the last frost, hardening off seedlings by gradually exposing them to outdoor conditions.

Water regularly to maintain consistent moisture, especially during dry spells. Harvest leaves as needed, starting with the outer ones, or allow heads to mature fully. For continuous harvest, sow seeds every 10-14 days throughout the growing season.
