GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Lettuce Romulus seeds directly into the garden soil as soon as it is workable in early spring. Choose a sunny location and space rows about 12 inches apart. Cover seeds lightly with soil and water gently.

Germination occurs within 7-10 days. Thin seedlings to 8 inches apart once they reach 2 inches in height to ensure ample space for growth. Transplanting is not recommended as lettuce prefers to grow in place.

Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist. Harvest by cutting outer leaves as needed, or harvest the entire plant when it reaches maturity. For continuous supply, sow seeds every two weeks.
