GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Lettuce City Garden Mix seeds directly into the garden or containers as soon as the soil can be worked in spring. Choose a sunny location with well-draining soil. Scatter seeds lightly and cover with a thin layer of soil, spacing them 6 to 7 seeds per 12 inches of row.

Germination occurs within 7 to 14 days. Once seedlings are 2 inches high, thin them to 8 inches apart to allow for proper growth. For a continuous supply, sow seeds every 10 to 14 days throughout the growing season.

Water regularly to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Harvest leaves as needed, starting with the outer leaves, to encourage new growth. Enjoy fresh, nutritious lettuce in salads or as a colorful garnish.
