Sow Lemon Gem Marigold seeds directly into the garden after the last frost when the soil has warmed. Alternatively, start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost date. Press seeds gently into the soil surface without covering them.

Germination occurs in 7-10 days at temperatures of 22°C (74°F). Once germinated, lower the temperature to 18°C (65°F) to promote healthy growth. Harden off seedlings by gradually introducing them to outdoor conditions over a week before transplanting.

Plant seedlings 10 inches apart in well-drained soil with full sun exposure. Water regularly but avoid overwatering. Enjoy the vibrant blooms and unique spicy tarragon flavor in culinary dishes. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming.
