GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Start seeds indoors in mid to late March using soil packs. Maintain seedlings at around 4 inches tall before transplanting. Once the soil warms in spring, transplant leeks into the garden, spacing rows 18 inches apart and plants 6 inches apart. Direct seeding into warm spring soil is also effective.

Germinate seeds with consistent moisture and warmth. Harden off seedlings by gradually exposing them to outdoor conditions over a week. Transplant into well-drained, fertile soil, ensuring proper spacing for optimal growth.

Keep leeks well-watered and feed regularly with a balanced fertilizer and Liquid Seaweed. Harvest in late summer to fall when they reach maturity. Enjoy their mild, sweet flavor in various culinary dishes.
