GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow King of Castle Cucumber seeds outdoors after the last frost. Plant seeds in groups of 3-4, spaced 4 feet apart, and cover lightly with soil. For an earlier start, sow indoors 2-3 weeks before the last frost using Jiffy pots.

Germination occurs in 7-10 days at optimal temperatures (22°C/72°F). Transplant seedlings carefully to avoid disturbing roots. Harden off seedlings by gradually exposing them to outdoor conditions over several days before planting.

Once established, train plants to grow vertically on a trellis to save space. Water regularly and fertilize with a balanced formula for best results. Harvest cucumbers when small for pickling or allow them to grow larger for fresh eating.
