GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Italian Oregano seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date or directly outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. Choose a sunny location with well-draining soil. Sow seeds on the surface and lightly cover with soil, maintaining consistent moisture until germination.

Germination occurs within 7-14 days at temperatures between 68-75°F (20-24°C). Once seedlings have several true leaves, transplant them outdoors, spacing them about 12 inches apart. Gradually acclimate seedlings to outdoor conditions by hardening them off for a week.

Water oregano plants regularly but avoid over-watering. Harvest leaves as needed once the plant is well-established. Regular harvesting encourages bushier growth and prevents the plant from becoming woody. Enjoy fresh or dried leaves in a variety of culinary dishes.
