GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Green Ice Lettuce seeds directly into the garden as soon as the soil can be worked in spring. Choose a location with full sun and well-draining soil. Lightly cover the seeds with soil, spacing them about 6 to 7 seeds per 30 cm of row.

Once seedlings are about 5 cm tall, thin them to 20 cm apart to ensure proper growth. Keep the soil consistently moist to promote healthy development. If transplanting, harden off seedlings by gradually exposing them to outdoor conditions over a week.

Regularly water to maintain soil moisture, especially during dry spells. Harvest leaves as needed, starting with the outer leaves. Successive plantings every two weeks can extend your harvest season. Enjoy the crisp texture in salads or as a garnish.
