GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Emerite Pole Bean seeds directly in the garden after the last frost date when the soil has warmed to at least 60°F. Choose a sunny location with well-drained soil. Plant seeds 1-2 inches deep, spacing them 6 inches apart in rows 30 inches apart.

To ensure successful germination, keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. As seedlings grow, thin them to stand 12 inches apart. Provide a sturdy trellis or fence to support the climbing vines, which can reach up to 8 feet in height.

Maintain regular watering, especially during dry spells, and apply a layer of mulch to retain moisture. Harvest beans when they are 7-9 inches long for the best flavor. Enjoy fresh, or use in a variety of culinary dishes.
