GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow seeds outdoors as soon as the soil is workable. Plant seeds 1/4 inch deep, spacing them 6 to 7 seeds per foot of row. Thin seedlings to 1 foot apart once they reach 3 inches high.

For an early start, sow seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date. Keep the soil temperature at approximately 70°F for optimal germination. Transplant hardened-off seedlings outdoors when they have several sets of leaves.

Ensure regular watering, especially during hot weather, to prevent bolting. Harvest mature heads when they are firm and have reached the desired size. Store harvested cabbage in a cool, dry place for long-term use.
