GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Early Purple Vienna Kohlrabi seeds outdoors as soon as the soil can be worked in early spring. Space rows 12 inches apart and plant seeds 1/4 inch deep. For an earlier start, sow seeds indoors 2-3 weeks before the last frost date.

Germinate seeds at around 70°F, then reduce to 60°F once sprouted. Transplant seedlings outdoors after hardening off, spacing them 12 inches apart. Ensure they receive full sun and are planted in well-drained soil.

Water regularly to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Harvest when the bulbs reach 2-3 inches in diameter for the best texture and flavor. Enjoy raw in salads or cooked in various dishes.
