  • The 1000-seed packet suits larger home gardens and community plots doing succession plantings through spring and fall. It’s also a smart choice for small market gardeners testing Boldor for sales.
  • The 5000-seed packet fits serious kitchen gardeners and market growers planning multiple beds and frequent harvests. Provides enough seed for staggered sowings to maintain continuous production.
  • The 10000-seed packet is best for diversified farms, CSA programs, and landscapers installing edible displays at scale. Ample volume for broad plantings, consistent bunching, and reliable weekly harvests.
GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Boldor Beet seeds directly into the soil as soon as the ground can be worked in the spring. Plant seeds 1/2 inch deep in rows spaced 18 inches apart in rich, well-drained soil. Ensure the soil remains moist but not waterlogged.

Germination occurs in 5 to 10 days. Once seedlings appear, thin them to 2 to 4 inches apart to provide ample space for root development. Use the thinned greens in salads or steamed dishes for added nutrition.

Maintain regular watering and keep the area free of weeds. Harvest beets when they are about 2 inches in diameter for optimal sweetness. Enjoy them roasted, juiced, or in salads. The young leaves are also delicious and nutritious when added to salads.
