GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow arugula seeds directly in the garden as soon as the soil can be worked in spring. Choose a sunny location with well-draining soil. Scatter seeds thinly and cover lightly with soil, spacing rows about 12 inches apart.

Germination occurs in about 5-7 days. Thin seedlings to 4-6 inches apart when they are a few inches tall. If transplanting, harden off seedlings before moving them outdoors.

Water regularly to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Harvest leaves as needed, starting with the outer leaves. For continuous harvest, sow seeds every 2-3 weeks throughout the growing season.
