GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Petunia E.W. Burgundy Velour seeds indoors 8 to 10 weeks before the last frost date. Lightly press the seeds into the soil without covering them, as they require light to germinate. Keep the soil moist and maintain a temperature of 24°C (75°F) for optimal germination.

Once seedlings appear, maintain a cooler temperature of around 12°C (55°F) to encourage compact growth. Transplant the seedlings outdoors after the last frost, spacing them 60 cm (24 inches) apart. Gradually harden them off by exposing them to outdoor conditions for a few hours each day.

Water regularly and feed bi-weekly with a high phosphorus fertilizer and liquid seaweed. Petunias require full sun for best blooming. Enjoy their vibrant blooms throughout the season, and pinch off old flowers to promote continuous flowering.
