Sow Baby Star Lettuce seeds outdoors as soon as the soil can be worked in early spring. Choose a location with full sun and well-drained soil. Scatter seeds lightly and cover with a thin layer of soil.

Germination occurs in 7-14 days. Thin seedlings to 8 inches apart once they are about 2 inches tall. For continuous harvest, sow seeds every 10-14 days. Harden off seedlings if starting indoors before transplanting.

Keep soil consistently moist and free of weeds. Harvest leaves as needed, starting with the outer ones. Baby Star Lettuce is perfect for fresh salads and adds beauty to your garden with its lush, compact form.
