GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Borage seeds directly outdoors after the last frost in a sunny location with well-drained, sandy soil. Lightly cover the seeds with soil and keep them moist until germination, which occurs in 7-14 days.

Once seedlings are established, thin them to about 12 inches apart to allow room for growth. Borage can also be started indoors 3-4 weeks before the last frost and transplanted outside after hardening off.

Water regularly but avoid overwatering. Borage is a self-seeding annual, so allow some flowers to go to seed for next year's growth. Enjoy its edible leaves and flowers in culinary dishes or as a pollinator attractor.
