GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Sweet Pea Navy seeds outdoors in early spring, as soon as the soil can be worked. Choose a sunny location and prepare a trench 7 cm deep. Place 3 to 4 seeds per foot of row and cover with 2 cm of soil. Consider soaking seeds overnight to speed up germination.

Germination requires cool, moist soil and usually takes 10 to 14 days. As seedlings emerge, gradually fill in the trench with soil. Thin seedlings to 15 cm apart and provide support with netting or lattice to encourage vertical growth.
