GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow carrot seeds directly into the garden as soon as the soil is workable in early spring. Choose a location with full sun and well-drained, loose soil. Plant seeds 1/4 inch deep and cover lightly with soil, spacing them about 6 to 7 seeds per foot.

Germination typically occurs within 7-14 days. Keep the soil consistently moist during this period. Once seedlings are about 3 inches tall, thin them to 1.5 inches apart to allow space for growth. Ensure the soil remains loose around the developing roots.

Water regularly to maintain soil moisture, and mulch to retain moisture and prevent weeds. Harvest when carrots reach about 6 inches in length, approximately 70 days after planting. Enjoy fresh, crunchy carrots straight from your garden.
