GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Sow Green Arrow Pea seeds directly into well-drained soil as soon as the ground can be worked in early spring. Plant seeds 1-3 inches apart in rows, 1 inch deep before mid-April or 2 inches deep after. Peas thrive in cool temperatures, so early planting is ideal.

To germinate, ensure the soil remains moist but not waterlogged. Peas do not require pre-soaking if the soil is damp. Use a seed inoculant to enhance nitrogen fixation and improve plant growth. Once seedlings emerge, thin them to about 3 inches apart for optimal growth.

Green Arrow Peas require regular watering, especially during flowering and pod formation. Harvest peas when pods are swollen and round, typically 18-20 days after flowering. Continue picking every other day to encourage more production. Enjoy fresh, or preserve by canning or freezing.
